Game servers by the hour. Pay only when you play.

Killing Floor (original) server admin: WebAdmin and joining

The original Killing Floor is 6-player wave-survival co-op: you and your friends hold out against waves of Zeds, buy weapons from the Trader between waves, and try to take down the Patriarch. It has no in-game RCON console. You manage the server from a browser panel called XWebAdmin. You deployed the server, so you are the admin.

How your friends join

The server sits on a public IP, so there is no port-forwarding and no VPN. The original KF has no in-game host, so a dedicated server like this is the reliable way to play together. Friends join one of two ways:

  • Open the console with the ~ key and run: open IP:7707
  • Or find it in the in-game server browser (Internet tab, or Favorites by IP). Your server name starts with 2hours.gg.

If you set a Join password on deploy, friends add it to the connect line: open IP:7707?Password=yourpass

Difficulty and maps

You choose the starting map and difficulty on the deploy form. KF has five difficulties, and they change the game a lot:

  • Beginner / Normal: a relaxed run, good for learning the maps and perks.
  • Hard / Suicidal: more Zeds, tougher specimens, real teamwork needed.
  • Hell on Earth: the hardest setting, the full six-player nightmare.

Every official map ships with the server (Biotics Lab, West London, Manor, Farm and the rest), so nobody downloads anything. Change map or difficulty live from the WebAdmin panel below, or redeploy with different picks.

Admin from the WebAdmin panel

KF has no in-game admin console. You manage the server from XWebAdmin, a small web panel the server runs. Open it in a browser:

  • Go to http://YOUR_SERVER_IP:8075/
  • Log in as user Admin with the admin password shown on your server card. That password is the panel login, not an RCON password.

From the panel you can change the current map, switch difficulty, kick or ban players, and edit server settings. Changes apply to the running server.

What ships built in

  • All official maps, ready to pick, no downloads.
  • The full perk system (Berserker, Commando, Support, Field Medic, Sharpshooter, Firebug, Demolitions). Players level perks by playing.
  • Up to 6 players. That is the original co-op cap and this build keeps it, so the game plays as intended.

Custom community maps are not delivered automatically on this first release (that needs a redirect/download host). Everyone plays the maps that ship with the game.
