Server console

Use the built-in console to change maps, manage bots, switch game modes, and run any command.

How does it work?
Sign in with Steam, pick a region and mode, and deploy. Your server is ready in minutes with MatchZy pre-installed. No config, no setup.
How much does it cost?
Small is free weekly for 2hr — try before you buy. Medium (5v5) from $0.99, Large (10v10) from $1.59 for 2 hours. Longer sessions are cheaper per hour. Credits give you better rates.
How do I get free credits?
Share your referral link (found on your account page). When a friend signs up and makes their first purchase, you both get $1.00. Your group ping test links also count as referral links.
How long does it take to boot?
2-5 minutes depending on server size. You'll see real-time progress on the server card.
Do I need to set up anything?
No. The server comes pre-configured with competitive settings. Just join and type .ready.
What plugins are installed?
MatchZy — competitive match management with knife round, ready system, overtime, tactical pauses, and auto-demo recording. Want to see other plugins? Let us know.
What maps can I play?
All official maps work out of the box. You can also play any Steam Workshop map (Prophunt, surf, etc.) by pasting its ID or URL when deploying. Workshop maps are downloaded to the server on first load, which may take a moment.
Can I change the map mid-game?
Yes — use the map dropdown in the console. Workshop maps are supported too. If the server needs to download files for the map, players will see a "loading" message in chat — the server stays up and switches automatically when ready.
What happens when time runs out?
You get a 30-minute grace period to join. Your paid time only starts when the first player connects. At the end, any unused grace time is added back. You'll see in-game warnings at 5 minutes and 1 minute before shutdown. You can extend anytime with credits.
Can I set a server password?
Yes — enter it when deploying. Only players with the password can join.
How can friends spectate the match?
Every server runs GOTV automatically on port 27020. Anyone can spectate live (with a ~105s delay) by opening the CS2 console and typing connect <server-ip>:27020 — no password, no slot in the game itself. Spectator capacity scales with size: Small 10, Medium 20, Large 30.
Can I host a tournament or multi-match event?
Yes — a 6-hour Medium or Large server fits a 4-team single-elimination evening (3 matches). MatchZy handles back-to-back matches automatically; the losing team disconnects, the next team joins, and the next .ready cycle starts. Extend +2hr at any time if you run long.
Can I run a surf, bhop, or KZ server?
Yes — pick the SharpTimer mode at deploy time. You get per-map leaderboards, replay bots, checkpoints, and any workshop surf/bhop/KZ map. SharpTimer is built from source on every deploy so the broken-public-release problem doesn't reach you.
Where are my demo files?
Demos are auto-recorded and uploaded after each map. Find them in your account page under server history.
What regions are available?
45 regions worldwide including US, EU, Asia, Middle East, South America, and Oceania. Use the group ping test to find the fairest region for your group.
Do credits expire?
No. Purchased credits never expire.
What if my server fails to start?
Your credits are automatically returned. If the failure wasted your time, get in touch — we usually cover these cases with bonus credits.
Something went wrong mid-match — what do I do?
Rare but it happens. First, reconnect — the server usually restarts itself within 10-15 seconds and you can rejoin with the same connect string.

Servers can also be sensitive to certain combinations of plugins, workshop maps, and console commands — if an issue appeared right after changing a mode, loading a custom map, or running an unusual command, reverting that change often resolves it.

If it keeps happening or the server doesn't come back, reach out with your server ID and roughly when it happened. We'll make it right — usually with credits (often more generous than a straight refund), or a refund if you'd prefer.
I changed a setting and now the server is broken.
Try switching back to the previous setting. Or use the "Reset to competitive" button in the console sidebar — it restarts the server with default competitive settings. If neither recovers, get in touch — we can also restart the server from the dashboard.
